It was one of those perfect English autumnal days which occur more frequently in memory than in life. ~P.D. JamesAh, autumn. The air is getting cool and crisp. The leaves are beginning to change. It's as if a whole new spirit is in the air. What is your favorite thing about this time of year? AND ... what would you do, if you had a perfect fall day to spend however you wanted?
My fasvorite part about fall? That would have to be the GORGEOUS colors, I just love how bright and vivid they are! If I had a perfect fall day all to myself to spend however i wanted i would have to say that I would spend it either with my friends or out alone taking pictures of all the beauty
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about this time of year is that its starting to get cold. I hate hot weather, id much rather prefer cool or cold. Also the leaves are begining to change color makeing everything look really pretty.
ReplyDeleteIf i had a prefect fall day to spend however i wanted i would spend the day outside just walking around with my camera, taking pictures.
I love t5his time of year when the weather is nice and cool i like spending it outside just laying there with a nice breeze coming through.
ReplyDeleteMy perfect fall day happens a couple times a year actually. It is when my Dad and all his family and I head down to Fayetteville, AR to see the Arkansas Razorbacks play football. My perfect day would be if Arkansas was playing Auburn/LSU/Alabama/Ole Miss for the SEC West tilte and I was tailgating in 65 degree weather all day. To start off the day my father and I would get up drink some cappichino while watching College Football Gameday! Then we would start driving and stop at this gas station at Marble, AR and get some sausage egg and cheese buscuits and orange juice. Then we arrive in Fayetteville at 11:00 and the game starts at 2:30 on CBS. We tailgate with the whole family by eating burgers and brawts with beans,brownies, and rotel dip with mexican sausage. At 12:00 we watch the players enter the stadium. The game starts out fast with Ryan Mallett throwing for 3 first quater TDs and the hogs are leading by 20 at halftime. The other team comes back and ties it with 1 minute left in the game! Then the Hogs get the ball back and throw a last second touchdown pass to Greg Childs. At the end of the game everybody is going crazy with excitement. My family and I calm down a little bit and go eat at Does Steak house. Dad buys me a 2lb steak in celebration and I eat it all including the bone. We head home and start watching football on my Grandmas 50inch HD TV and see our highltes on ESPN! Then we also see that Texas, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Boise State, and Ohio
ReplyDeleteState have all lost to teams from the Sunbelt conferance and My dad and I are ecstatic and look at eachother like "did this day really just happen."

ReplyDeleteI like this time of the year because it is so nice outside I love the way it looks outside the trees look beautiful. If I had one day I would probably just get a whole bunch of my friends and rake leaves then jump in them like we used to when we were little. Just for fun. Then have a picnic. (:

ReplyDeletehahah. One thing I don't like is how we have to go to school and yet its so early. My perfect fall day would be no school and to sleep in and wake up around 12. To get ready, hangout with friends, watch a movie and go to the haunted house at night.(:
what I like about this season is the climate, it is always cool never to hot or to cold. A perfect day in this season would be to just sit outside or go jogging in the forests while listening to music.
ReplyDeleteHmm. What would I do? I think id spend my day at the campground, haveing a picnic with my friends. We'd eat hamburgers and sunchips. Than after we get done eating, id get a big game of soccer started. After the fun game, wed sit back down and catch up on everything while sitting around the campfire. We'd get sleepy so we would all go sleep in our tent. The next morning, wakeing up with our backs stiff and sore, the fun would have to end, and we go home wishing we can do it again.
ReplyDeleteI love this season. There's something magical about it. My favorite part of fall you ask? I love the slightly depressing feeling you get when you know that in a couple of months everything will seem still and lifeless. I guessed you could say my inner emo is jumping to the serfce. If I could an entire day the way I wanted to I would definitely want to go to one of the parks around here. I could spend hours sitting on a swing just thinking or just watching the people go by. They don't seem to notice what they're missing. If you just step back and look at the world you begin to see things in a different light. For me things tend to get gloomy, but that's just who I am. I really feel at home and at peace during this time of year. I spend lots of time alone, walking. Somehow, thinking and sometimes crying just makes things seem a little bit more peaceful.
ReplyDeleteWell, the best part is the warm mornings and the cool afternoons. Hands down. My perfect fall day, would be sitting in the local park and (if I was good at painting) painting the landscape I saw before me.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about this time of the year is that it's soccer season, and bonfires. My perfect day would be spending it with a perfect girl, watching some TV. Then that night going to a bonfire and cuddling in a blanket. That would be a perfect day.
ReplyDeleteAutumn is my favorite season. Because of so, my favorite things to do happen in Fall. It's difficult to have a perfect day, but a good day in this season would include a long walk with a close friend or by myself and my iPod. It's a great time to think about things. I also love the weather and the scenery. The falling colorful leaves, the air, it's fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI love the Fall season, because it is the prettiest, the leaves are changing that bright and vibrant color of bright yellow and orange, then as they turn brown, and fall from the trees, they cover the ground with a brown crust of crackling sounds, hiding little hibernating plants and animals under them.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite type of Fall day, would have to be one, where me and my friend Phillip Moore are hanging out in the pasture, riding horses and having races through the obstacles on the trails. Then later on in the evening, grooming the horses and after feeding them, laying out side by side on the large mound of hay in the center of the pasture, watching the horses run around and play as the night shadows creep onto the pasture.
I like this season because it's not too hot, but yet not too cold. Because I absolutely hate being cold!! I am so easy frozen I swear haha. But in thiis weather I can go walk or run but not get too hot or too dehydrated.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about this time of year is the weather and Thanksgiving of course! The feeling of togetherness this time brings is awesome. How would I spend the perfect Autumn day? The first part would be with my family, but the second part would be with my friends...and girls haha :)
ReplyDeletethe best thing about fall would have to be thanksgiving...all the food you can eat without your parents complaining about all the food disapearing is the life. the perfect fall day is a semi warm sort of slow day, a blue sky with a few clouds of in the distance...and a snack.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about fall is the atmosphere. You get to wear thick, warm clothing, have fires, and enjoy the nature. If I had a day to do whatever I would go camping with friends.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite part about the fall is the relaxation, things are coming to a close, school sports is anyway, but the NFL is just starting to get juicy. I also like the colder weather, I get an excuse to wear pants, even though mine are a bit too baggy. During the fall I usually do what I always do play videos till it gets dark, eat dinner while watching football, and just relax while I watch a team get crushed. When it gets late I'll slightly open my window to get a cool breeze to sleep soundly to, but you run the risk of your room becoming a tundra by sunrise. My perfect day would go something like this, I'd wake up to my room being really cold, but I remebered to go to bed with 2 blankets, take a hot shower, then have my breakfast consist of yogurt of some sort. My day would fly by, and once I got home I'll play a video game I just bought until around 6. At 6 my dinner will be burgers and salad, and Id eat while the colts would play the patriots and win by a 2 touchdown deficit.
ReplyDeletemy favorite thing about fall has to be the chang of temperature and the color of the leaves. i like to put on those warm clothing and make hot chocolate. i would probably go out hiking with my family or friends.

I LOOOVE IT!!! its my favorite time of year!! i mean i agree with "pimpdaddy"...(lol) its the clothes because i love the cold, waaay more than the heat its just so much more fun to get warm than get cooled off ^_^. how i would spend my perfect autumn day is gone up on some high hill laying in the shade all day relaxing just talking with my friends :)
ReplyDeleteAutumn is a time of dieing and also a time of living! a time where you can go out not worry about rain or how hot/cold its going to be! in my personal opinion two of the greatest holidays are in autumn! halloween is a time of joy and thanksgiving is a time of rejoice!

My fav part of fall is the nice weather for about 2 weeks before it is cold as umm not appropriate. But if i had the perfect fall day i would probably raise Kane outside doing something stupid probably.
ReplyDeleteWell I love how the leaves change colors. If I could be anywhere I'd be in New Yorks Central Park. I've just seen pictures but It's in the middle of the city and lots of tree's. So that just seems like the place to be on a perfect Fall day.

ReplyDeleteThis time of year is like a green ligh for the up coming hollidays and winter! On a perfect day around this time i would go on a bike ride near the lake through the trails. Maybe take some pictures of the sunsets at the lake and just lay there to relax.
